I have never been able to find his mother's name as she was not able to raise him. The family stories were that she was found about to bathe him and the bath water was boiling hot. There was nothing further ever told about her. Charlie House was my grandfather who married Hettie Embrey of Caneyville. I am very interested in anything you might have further about William or Valentine "Bud". I know family members always believed there was a family connection to the Miller family.
