I am researching in an attempt to release a book on this subject on the 100 year anniversary of the disaster at Browder. One of the names you listed was killed in the explosion. Enos M. English, referred to as Mack English in print I have read, was a track layer in the mine and was burned and bruised and died immediately as a result of the blast. Thirty-four miners died that day and others died soon after. I am interested in anything that would give a more personal look at the victims. There are so many articles but the killed and injured are more like statistics in the pieces I have read. I want to add family information to make the victims real in my work. My references indicate he was a single person. My research has indicated he werved in the military for a few years at the turn of the century. 1. I am looking for the grave and cemetery of Enos M. English. I want to get a photo of his marker for my book. 2. From the data you have provided, is there a family bible that Enos M. English is listed in? 3. Any chance there would be a family photo or any photos of Enos M. English in existance? Thanks so much for any help. Please contact me with any help or information that can help me with my project.
