His mother might be named Nancy. James was called Jim and married a Sarah Gore b 1811/1814 Children of James and Sarah 1) Margaret (I don't have a birth date for her) 2) Eleanor b 1827 3) Kitty Ellen b 1829 4) William b 1832 5) John Thomas b 1834 6) James Henry b 1835 7) Nancy Jane b 1837 8) Caleb b 1841 9) George W. b 1845 10) Susan/Susannah b 1847 11) Rachel A. b 1850 12) Tabner b 1852 They are in the 1850 census in Grayson County Kentucky. Living right next door are Wesley Hayse b 1829 Rachel A. b 1832 William B. b 1849 In the 1860 census they are in Litchfield In the 1870 census they are in Cany, Next door is Geroge W Hayse with his wife Hannah b 1841 and Arthur P. b 1864, son Mary E. b 1867, daughter Sarah Dec 1869 or Jan 1870 there is also what might be a mother in law living with George W, but I can't make out the name.
