STEWART, b. 5 May 1863, d. 5 Mar 1943, married to Mary, b. 13 Dec 1867, the youngest daughter of Isaac BLANTON & Sarah "Sally PRESTON. I show that Mary died on or about 1898. I am aware of only one child of Mary: Monroe STEWART who md. Effie HAYES. Isaac BLANTON, b. 4 Apr 1826, d. 2 Jul 1906, married abt. 1849, to Sarah "Sally" PRESTON, b. 22 Apr 1827, d. 15 Oct 1902. They are buried in the Preston Cemetery. His widow, (Mrs.) Nancy BLANTON, age 62, is shown in the 1850 Census with her mother, (Mrs.) Elizabeth DAVIS, age 84. Vechel married second to Magnolia "Maggie" SNODGRASS, b. 13 Apr 1881, d. 9 Oct 1922. Maggie had a son, Theodore, who died young, and a daughter, Ovie, b. 1915, who md. Emmett NEWTON. Acccording to my notes, Vechel and Maggie are buried in South Cemetery. I'm not sure if Mary is buried there also. Monroe and Effie are buried there. Bill Vincent ....
