They are buried in the Preston Cemetery. His widow, (Mrs.) Nancy BLANTON, age 62 is shown in the 1850 Census with her mother, (Mrs.) Elizabeth DAVIS, age 84 Vechel married second to Magnolia "Maggie" SNODGRASS, b. 13 Apr 1881, d. 9 Oct 1922. Maggie had a son, Theodore, who died young, and a daughter, Ovie, b. 1915, who md. Emmett NEWTON. Acccording to my notes, Vechel and Maggie are buried in South Cemetery.
