Lowell Decker posted all what I have for those on this message site for Grayson County in a post dated 28Jan2003 titled "House family Burials in Miller Cemetery" so if you could go back and take a look at that there are 16 it looks like. Did you have anything that says who Valentine House's parents were? I had some information that Valentine 'Bud' was Deliah's nephew, a son of her brother. He lived with Deliah Miller on several censuses, I was not sure if he was a son of one of her unmarried daughters. I will try to find where I have that, although I don't believe I know the name of his mother. I believe it came from Katherine Litsey Woosley, who was a distant cousin to my gr. aunt in our family. My great Aunt Edna Miller talked of visiting the House families back in the 1940's. I have an old letter that mentions they traveled by train and visited Kentucky, went to Mammoth caves with the House family, they seemed to be closely related to our family, as Deliah House Miller was the mother of my line's Wade S. Miller, his son Grayson Allison Miller. Deliah House born 1815 died 1888 could not read or write it is stated on a census and in a pension paper I have, she marked it with 'her mark x instead of signature. She filed for a "Pension for a Mother" for her son who died in the Civil War battle of Corinth, Miss. after her husband died. I have a copy of it. The son was named Valentine Miller. He was a young man, I don't believe he married. Her son Wade Miller also fought in the war. I have alot of old papers on this family that I need to scan in the computer, so they are easier to access. Deliah's parents were William D. House b. 1782 GA died 1862 mother Jane 'Jinny' Neal/Neel b 1796 died 1871. They are buried in the Miller Cemetery. I have some info on their other children. I don't really know about the Stinson School photo, I looked back in the posts, and Virjean Potter Bozarth posted a list of the names from the photo you mentioned, so you could check on that, too. Larry Evans lives on the old homestead where it is located, from several years ago. I have a photo i'll post here of Valentine 'Bud' House and his son Charlie with my Gr grandfather Grayson A. Miller on the left, the other fellow in the center is Les Van Norte with the hunting dog, I believe the photo could be about c. 1910 or a few yrs before in Grayson County, KY. My gr grandparents G.A. and Clara Miller moved out to Oregon by 1910, they are on the Census in Lane Co. Oregon. They moved back and forth between KY and OR several times.
