On the earlier census' they have them down as Gary and it is spelled that way on my great grandfather's marriage record, but it depends on who was writing down the information. I don't know what Lige's correct given name was, but my g-grandfather, Leander Worley, listed him as Lige. Sarah Frances was the oldest sister of my grandfather, Robert Franklin Worley. According to the census information they were married 20 years in 1900, so they would probably been married in late 1879, or early 1880. That is certainly better than guessing. An exact date of their marriage may never be found. Their marriage does not seem to be listed in Hardin County, so they may have married in Hart or Grayson.
