My Grant County family are the Jump and Rankin family. My Jump family is George W. Jump 1854-1928 husband of Melvina Eaglin. Melvina was George's 2nd wife.I would love to know the name of his first wife.George's father was William Lowe Jump,born 1815 in Grant county .William was married to Zerrilda (Serrilda) J. Smith in Gallatin County Ky.William's father was Robert F. Jump , born 1790 in Bourbon County Kentucky. Robert's father was John Jump Sr.born around 1747 in Maryland (?). If anyone has more info on any of these people or connects to this line,please let me know. My Rankin Family is Samuel Grant Rankin,born 1864 in Grant County Ky. His wife was Addie Jane Garnet. Samuel is the son of William W. Rankin born in 1835 in Gallatin County Ky. If anyone has any information on William's parents or siblings,please let me know.
