Hi everyone, I have been in touch with a man who is putting together a book about the Grant/Pendleton Ashcraft's and related families!! He isn't on the net, doesn't have a computer, yet. He sent me a rough outline and I am pretty impressed! If you have stories about your family line that connects with the Ashcrafts and if you have pictures of anyone in those lines and would like them in the book please let me know. He sent me (very poor scanned copies) of Martha Ann Sipple, Elizabeth Ashcraft, William Alfred Ashcraft, Henry Ashcraft & Sarah Hicks, Henry Kelly Ashcraft, (he went to Missouri, James Richard Ashcraft and Elizabeth. James is in his war uniform! Like I said, these are very poor quality but they will be reproduced from the original in the book. I told him I would ask you all and handle this part of it for him. He is especially interested, as I said, in family "stories" and pictures. His outline is good, not just a bunch of names and dates but facts that read like a story. I am really excited about this and am going to contribute good copies of all the pictures and documents I have to him. The book is going to sell for around $25.00. I know you all spend a lot of time doing this research, I know I sure do! I love the hunting and gathering but not the documenting. I am thrilled someone else is willing to do it! Please let me know if you are interested, Bonnie
