    3. Sandra, I wrote re the Robert Ashcraft being married to Martha Turner and Catherine a year later. It was Robert W. Ashcraft and the question was regarding a recorded date for Martha Turner's death or where one could find such. Rosetta Ashcraft was there only living child, my g-grandmother, and on the 1860 Grant Co census she is living w/her father and his 2nd wife, Catherine, plus their four children. Rosetta Ashcraft married R. N. Morehead in 1868. Their children were Edgar, Oden and Ida (my grandmother). On the 1870 census Richard Morehead, Rosetta, Edgar and a Sarah Turner, age 74, are shown. Sarah was possibly her grandmother. By the 1880 census, the children are living w/relatives as both parents died. Finally, my question - how can I find out what happened to Richard N. Morehead and Rosetta Ashcraft Morehead and would their children be recorded in the books of county records since they were orphaned? I have corresponded w/Bonnie Snow re this.
