    3. I wish I knew how to find death records. I have been trying to find a death record for my gggrandmother for 2 years. They were not required to be kept until 1912. So you need to look for a will or guardianship etc. maybe a newspaper obiturary. Vol IV of Pease has guardainship records for Grant Co for 1838-1871. I could not find a listing for Moorehead or alternative spelling. This may be too early and there may be other guardian records in the books I do not have. Sorry I could be of more help. Good Luck.
