Debbie, You are not any trouble. I have just done so many lookups that I don't remember one from the next. I do make mistakes but sometimes the information availabe to us is a contradiction. On the first question, it appears I have confused you with my format. I was not saying that CK Simpson was born to Morgan Simpson. I was giving you a list of Simpson births that were similar to the birthdate you provided. ON CK SIMPSON BIRTH was my heading. I am deleting my words from the message and resending it. I also sent the birth of Stephen Beverley Simpson because of the birth date. I am not sure what the question is. I did check to see if I made a typo and I copied it exactly as in the book. I did not study your family sheet, but are they the same parents?Could they be cousins? If so perhaps Janet Pease translated incorrectly. I don't think we are talking about twins?You might want to call the Grant County Clerks Office and give the reference. "1858 births" on page 1. Perhaps they can check the entry for that date. If my response doesn't make sense it is because I am kinda of confused. what I amsaying is I really don't know anything other than what is written in this book. I am sorry I confused you on the first question with my format. Genealogy is difficult enough. On the second question , there is obviously an error in either the Pease data or the data you already have. Could they have changed his name after he was born? Perhaps they just have his birthday wrong and this is one of his siblings.I would find some way to check the original courthouse record and bring it to the attention of the other source. I am sorry.
