We ahve numerous lines in the Pendleton, Harrison, Grant Co. area since the early 1800s. I have been searching for 2 particular families in the 1870 census but had no luck with any index UNTIL last night. I found an index that alphabetizes surnames by county, apparently for the whole state. I am about 99% certain that I found them. I will list them first and then some entries for surnames that I have seen on these lists (County - Location - Page) Dotson BAKER (sp BAKERN in index) Grant - Crittenden-512 Louis Wolf-Campbell-Carthage-168 I would be very grateful to SKS who would look these up for me.
