I have truly enjoyed this veritable orgy of information, and it is wonderful that these two lovely folks are helping so many of us. I reviewed the info I got on the Halls. I would like to make sure I understand what I'm reading, if anyone has time to help. I have undocumented info that Martha Hall married Thomas Webster shortly after Robert Hall died. However, I didn't realize it was that shortly! Also, it mentions AW or AH Vaters/Vawters as guardian and several of the younger children as wards. Does this mean the children lived with this person? It appears that he received land for this - can someone let me know if I am reading this correctly - (below are two examples). Vol IV KY Guardianships Grant Co Page 42 Settlement: AH Vaters guardian of ZT Hall mentions the rent of 4 1/2 acres of the ward's land for 12 years ending 25 Dec 1869. Settlement: AH Vaters guardian of Robert Hall mentions the rent of 2 and 3/4 acres of the the ward's land for 12 years. page 372-373 Also, is this regarding land as well ? Don, Just started looking but found a W. Milnur marrying a Mary Dun. Spelling was so far off I would have ignored it had it not been for Dun. Let me know. Also there are a lot of Dunns and Duns in Grant Co. I am related to one of them. As you can see we are really getting swamped can you narrow your request? Also could Henry Milner be Henry Miller? Let me know. Fixing dinner will look further tonight.
