    1. [KYGRANT-L] Anyone named LUTHERA?
    2. I want to know if there are any woman in Grant County and surrounding counties named Luthera? The name Luthera is somewhat unusual name. The oldest Luthera I found is: Luthera Elizabeth Green born about 1830 in Kentucky, her parents unknown. Are there any Lutheras in her family or her ancestors? She married Pendleton C. Massey/ Massie. Pendleton C. Massey's niece also named Luthera Massey born about 1842 in Grant County, Kentucky, daughter of Edmund Massey and Ellen (maiden unknown). Edmund died 1904 near Sherman, Grant County, Kentucky. Zack Bennett P.o. Box 280941 San Francisco, California 94128

    3. Pat, I don't know to whom this message was intended, but your mentioning the KY researcher caught my eye. I have attempted to do research in the Grant Co. area and was there in June, but one cannot accomplish a lot in an hour or so. I don't know when I will be able to return so would like the name of the person who made reference to also. 3. Hi Judie, The article I referred to was posted on the list on July 28 and I will send to you privately. Sarah's parents are John W. Sipple and Amelia New. Thanks for the info about the KY Historical Society. I am sure Deep Roots is at the FHL in Salt Lake City but probably has not been microfilmed if the book was copyrighted. Warren -----Original Message----- From: Judie French [mailto:JWFrench@cpros.com] Sent: Monday, August 02, 1999 2:16 PM To: KYGRANT-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [KYGRANT-L] James M. LITTELL and Sarah SIPPLE <Oops, I just found the answer in New Family/Sipple Family by Beryl S. Litsey.> Warren: 1) is that book available for purchase? 2) I was reading marriage licenses yesterday and found Sarah Sipple m. James Littell 18 Nov 1833. It caused me to wonder exactly the same question. Who was her mother? 3) I found the answer about messages wrapping/not wrapping. If I write from Outlook Express 5.0 the message wraps; if I use 'reply' it write in whatever format the original message came in. 4) Deep Roots is more than 600 pages long - it would be hard to photocopy. Maybe the KY Historical Society would know where there was a copy... Cousin Judie ______________________________
