    2. Does anyone know how to access the Kentucky Genweb Home Pages for Grant and Pendleton County? They were in my list of favorites but AOL says they can't be found. When I go to the Kentucky Genweb site and click on one of the above sites, a page comes on but it isn't the home page. At the end of the page is "return to homepage", when I click that, AOL again says it can't be found! Help! Bonnie

    3. Carol, You know more of my family than I do! lol My Dad moved us to Fl. when I was young...alas an orphan of sorts...lol Mary Lou may be my Dad's cousin, his mother Anna Ray Steers had a brother named Earl. My Stehenson's, Penick's ,Ashcraft's, Norton's, Clark's ect come from Anna's side, my Turner's come from her hubby, my grandfather Levi Turner. Most of his family moved from Bracken Co to Grant after the death of his grandfather. As I told Bonnie, If it's not a small world..I'm Kermit the Frog!!! Teresa

It's funny, I grew up in Kenton County, KY until 1972 when I moved to Boone County, KY, and all my ancestors are in Boone Co., but when you give your surnames, I know many Turners, I had a friend named Mary Lou Steers in Owenton and DeMossville (Owen/Grant Counties and her father's name was Earl), my husband's grandmother who died in 1982 at age 96 was nanny for Stephensons in Boone County near Big Bone, I had a teacher in Kenton Co., named Dave Penick who lives in Boone Co. now, Ashcraft's lived across the street from my home when we first moved into Boone county and now they live in Grant County or Owen County. I had a Finnell cousin from California tell me that it must be amazing that everywhere I go in Boone County, I must run into cousins, some that I know and others that I may never know. Some of my friends I have discovered are distant relatives that I would never have guessed! My surnames that I am researching: Griffith (Boone Co) Finnell (Boone Co) Jackson (Boone) Carpenter (Boone) Osborne (Grant, Owen, Carroll) Jump (Grant) Lyons (Grant) We're getting a new Library in Boone which is much bigger than the Covington Library and I am hoping that they will increase the information for genealogy to cover the surrounding counties. I will pass this library every day and I hope that it will give me an excuse to get there more often. As it is now, I don't have time to do lookups, but would love to do so.
