Pat, I think that is a great idea. I have a wish list of my own. Any ideas on how to structure it? Maybe could feature a specific document every month and scan it in or list the person who has it. That is of course if we get them. How are you doing on Dunn and Wolfe outline. Should I go ahead and post mine? I know you got really busy with hurricanes etc so I did not want to bother you. Sandy, I have to dash to work now. I'll get back to you tomorrow. Pat
Bonnie, You and Sandra have been working so hard and have done such a great job that I hestitate to make a suggestion. I would like to see a "Wish List" section. There are several documents that I would like to have that don't seem to fit with the Look-ups being offered - marriages, wills, births. Whenever I am doing research I try to keep an eye out for names that I remember from the list. If I am going through a film or document and see something that may match, I notify the person. A Wish List that could be printed out and kept with my research would be helpful. Pat
Hi Debbie, We thank you mam! This site will always be a work in progress; we are trying to learn the ropes right now but we will be adding more births, deaths, marriages, etc. We have only just begun! We welcome all suggestions and if you have a family line or biography, will, just about anything you would like concerning your family posted, we will put it up there! Take care, Bonnie
Thank you Debbie, we want to continue to update but unless we can make lots of trips to Kentucky, we need you guys to help us by contributing your family data. We will even give your own page and we will post as much as you would like on your Grant family Of course we would like for it to be documented or stated that it is not proven. This gives every family in Grant Co a venue for their family history. Sandy -----Original Message----- From: Deborah K. Please pray for this dear lady and that precious little boy. On Friday around 10:30 I received a visit from the Alabaster Police Department infforming me that my 30 year old daughter and my two grand children had been in a horrible car accident. It was a head on collision and my daughter and 10 year old granddaughter did not survive. My 8 year old grandson is in Children's Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. in intensive Care after a 4 hour surgery repairing broken femur bones in both legs. He has had pins and rods put in both legs and has been given blood but seems to be pulling through. He does not know yet that he has lost his Mother and sister. I will have the task of telling him that on Sunday. The doctors say he will not be able to walk for at least two months and will have to have extensive therapy. I am his nearest living relative and will be bringing him home with me to live. His father committed suicide last year. Also on Sunday, I will be going to Southern Heritage Funeral home in Pelham, Alabama to arrange the funeral for my lovely daughter and my precious granddaughter. Friends.....I need your help. Please send this email to everyone you know and ask that they pray for me and my family. I can't seem to find the strength I need to deal with this right now. I also have a 26 yr. old daughter and son-in-law who are with me right now, along with a multitude of friends and family but still request your prayers. Thank you so much.
