We understand the parties previously had trouble and Tuesday's difficulty was not the result of politics. Both men are about 20 years of age. Brown is the son of Mr. Luther Brown. Both boys are well known and have many friends. 21 Mar 1901 The Central Record Judge Saufley was well enough to occupy the bench on Monday morning, when the second trial of Luther Ray for killing Edgar Brown, at the last election, was begun. 28 Mar 1901 The Central Record The jury in the case against Luther Ray for killing Edgar Brown returned a verdict of acquital.
