B. Brown, Sr., in her 82nd year, of typhoid pneumonia after a lingering illness. Mrs. Brown was born in Garrard county Dec 19th, 1828, being the twin sister of Geo.F. Jennings, deceased. She was the daughter of Samuel B. and Rosanna Jennings and has lived in the county all of her life. Mrs. Brown was twice married, the first time to James Allen Stephens, who died in 1850, leaving her a widow with three daughters, one of whom died in infancy, the other, Marietta Stephens Drake, died 38 years ago. In 1855, she was married to A. B. Brown, Sr., who survives. To this union were born six children, two sons and four daughters; George F. Brown of this county and J. H. Brown, dec'd; Mrs. W. S. Holman of Aurora, IN; Mrs. H. D. Arnold of Mineral Wells, TX; and Miss Allie B. Brown of Louisville. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
