    3. Will try this again - my "sender" says the entire message went through the first time! Barbara, did your reference say where the Wallace Chapel Cemetery was? Just remembered I bought the Vockery Garrard Cemetery Book not long ago, which lists a "Wallace Cemetery off Broadus Branch Road near old Wallace Mill on Paint Lick, 1/2 mile south of Isaac Road. Maybe this cemetery would be easier accessed from the Madison Co side - have bad knee and don't know whether I can walk 1/2 mile over un-level terrain.. Must try to find it next time I go to KY. Yes, if the James was born in 1783, he might be the son of my Michael Wallaces. My Hannah Wallace Anderson was born 29 Apr 1767 and married James Anderson in Madison Co 10 May 1788; and MAYBE all the Wallace boys were older than she was. The supposed birth order of children of Michael Wallace (ca.1734-1808) and Ann Allen (ca.1740-2 Jul 1827, marr ca.?1757) is: William Wallace marr Sally [Sarah?] Shannon, John Wallace marr Mackey, Allen Wallace marr Nancy Terrill, Michael Wallace marr Nancy Shannon, Josiah Wallace marr Polly Mason, Mary 'Polly' Wallace Giles, Hannah Wallace Anderson 1767, Elizabeth 'Betsy' Wallace marr Wm. Shannon, Sarah 'Sallie' Wallace marr Wm Duff. Some of this information is suspect, since sons are listed first; it came from "Tables of Descent" prepared by an older 5th cousin; the marriage of Hannah Wallace to James Anderson in Madison Co 10 May 1788, is documented by marriage bond on record there. This Wallace family apparently came to KY around 1785, from Augusta Co VA - where the Andersons lived. Andersons lived in the same area in KY, but east of Paint Lick Cr, nearer Silver Creek. A Michael Wallace [maye this Michael's father] proved importation into Augusta around 1740. 3. Wallace Chapel Cemetery is in Madison County at the site of Wallace Chapel, a Methodist Church on Guinn Road in an area known as Wallaceton (off Ky Hwy 21 East near Berea). I believe access is relatively easy to this cemetery and it's right along the road. Wallace Cemetery is a different cemetery, located in Garrard County. I've never been to nor seen that one, though, and can't say how easy access would be. All the best!
