I have managed to confuse myself! In your 29 May 2007 11:17 a.m. message you said Arthusia Jane Hardin is the daugher of William, and in the 29 May 2007 2:54 message it looks like her parents are Robert M. Hardin and Eliza East. Are Arthusa Jane and Arthusa (Arthusia?) "Belle" the same person or two different people?. If they are two different people, that could explain why the parents are different. I hope you can help me figure this out. I am trying to connect my husband's grandfather, James T. Hardin, who was born on Sugar Creek near Lancaster, to George Hardin and Catherine Moton.
