A large train encamped on the 4th a couple of miles south of that place. In the evening the town was full of drunken, teamsters, mounted on wagon mules, who were racing and cavorting about in the most exuberent style. The animals had done their day's work before they were mounted by the drunken rowdies, who galloped them more than five miles each. Whether they had anything beside wagon-tongue rations after doing a day's work and running five-mile heats, our correspondent had no means of learning.
