G. Daniel. - In Philadelphia, on Wednesday last, the trial of Abner G. Daniel, of Garrard county, Ky., charged with obtaining goods under false pretences, was brought to a close by the jury returning a verdict of guilty. The punishment is confinement in the penitentiary. Maj. Daniel has occupied many important public stations. He has frequently represented Garrard county in th Kentucky Legislature and Garrard and Lincoln in the Senate of the State, and ws at one time a candidate for Congress in the 4th district. End.
