We are very likely related via Burton Palmer and Rebecca (Bruce) Palmer. Not much is known about Nixon Palmer and his wife Mary (Beasley). He was b. in Buckingham Co, VA abt 1750, d. 1809 in Garrard, Co. KY. My line is Denton Palmer, Marion Palmer, John B. Palmer, George Washington Palmer, John Henry Palmer, Burton Palmer, Nixon Palmer, John Palmer.. John Henry and his family including my g grandfather George W. came across the Ore. Trail in 1853 and settled in Mt. Angel, OR. Abt. 1900, George W. and his son John B. moved to Benton, City, WA where my father Marion was born. I was born in Yakima, WA and my wife and I live on Whidbey Island north of Seattle. I would be very interested in knowing from which branch of this Palmer Family you are descended. If I can't answer your questions, I discovered a double cousin in Tucson on a Garrard Co. KY message bd.a few yrs ago that has done extensive research on the family so she would be a great source.
