My family has an old tin type photo that is likely Prudence Bland (b. 1797 Garrard co., KY d. aft 1880) with writing of the frame that she was 102 years old when she died. It is not confirmed it only says that it was John Thomas Miller's (b. 1847 Garrard?, KY d. 22 Mar 1921 son of Harrison Miller and Mary Ann Austin) grandmother without name. I don't have a death date on Prudence but she was living with Harrison and Mary Ann during 1880 US census and would have been 83 then, althought census said 90. Plus I can't find J. T. Miller's other grandmother (b. KY per census) to rule her out. If anyone can look up 1890 US census I would like to see if Prudence was alive then. She would have been 93 then, dying the year before 1900 US census. Not sure if she would still be in Ray co., MO, but probably close by in 1990.
