"Frankie" might well be a nickname for Frances. The Frances shown as married to John Smith on the 1850 census was born @ 1790, and so she would have been 15 or 16 in 1806 -- probably about the right age to have been the Frankie Hunley married to John Smith (he would have been 29 or 30). If they are in fact the parents of Peyton W. Smith (born @1826), then Frances Hunley Smith may well have been the aunt of Frances West Marksbury Smith as her mother (married to Peyton West) was Rebecca Hundley (Hunley)!!
