Hamilton. Betty was born on August 7, 1930, in Manse, [Garrard County], Kentucky, to the late Andrew and Hennie (Plummer) McKinney. She retired from Mercy Hospital in 1988 after 32 years of service and was a member of The Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, David Pressnell; brothers, Raymond, Russell and Bernie Smith McKinney; and sisters, Elizabeth Starnes, Josephine Matlock, Thelma Grow, and Evelyn Burnett Betty is survived by a son, Charlie (& Mary Ellen) Pressnell of Hawkinsville, GA; a brother, John (& Mary) McKinney of Fairfield; and a sister, Margaret Gross of Lake Mary, FL; two granddaughters, Mary Elizabeth and Virginia Lee and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be, 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2004, at Kowalk Funeral Home - Rose Hill Chapel, 2565 Princeton Road, Hamilton, with Rev. John Lewis officiating. Burial will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park following the services. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Presbyterian Church of Hamilton in her memory.
