JOHN ADAMS a American Revolutionary War Veteran, and wife SUSANNAH (PARRISH) ADAMS.John enlisted in the 2nd.-Virginia State Regiment in 1778 in Louise County,Virginia and served under Col. Dabney,and was the battles of Bunker Hill, Brandywine, and the surrender of Gen. Cornwallis.John and family moved west to settle in Garrard County,Kentucky where John died on Dec.23rd.1832 and Susannah died in 1847.Would appreciate any information on the ADAMS-PARRISH families,or any information on his military service record.
