Edmond was b NC, as was Thomas's father (per 1880 census) and Eliz. was b KY. He was a 65-yr old wagon maker and smith in Buckeye in 1870. Other entry in 1870 on same page as Thomas was Cyone or Cyons? Dealy [sic], 21. (Thomas was a single farm laborer counted with a Prather family.) The Rays were about 6 pages away. =========================================== There was an Edmon Daly [sic] in Fleming Co., KY in 1860 but he was 43, a cooper, b KY, and listed with a Nancy 28 and kids none the same as Edmond's and Eliz.'s in 1870 (and no Thomas in particular). =========================================== Of course what you need is an 1850 or 1860 family that includes Thomas - and there could have been more than one. Spelling variations of the last name - and possible spelling errors of the first - should be considered.
