I just received my copy of Kathy Vockery's "Garrard Co Cemeteries"; what a wonderful book!!! It is very large, and costs $2.47 to mail, Media Mail rate - must weigh 2-3 pounds. Received only 12 days after I put check in the mail. All this, postage included, for $20.00. Can't believe the great value. It is sad, tho, to see how many old cemeteries can no longer be located. All those graves, dust to dust. And, even tho these graves are lost, a lot of information remains about some of the people buried and honored at one time with a stone of some sort.
