I don't know if Jane and Francis had a dau named Elizabeth but can tell you that her mother was named Elizabeth Morris married to James Hurt in 1786 in Halifax, VA. Jane also had a son, Abel Hurt, born around 1810 but he was raised by an uncle, Henry Hurt. In the 1820 Garrard census, there was a Jane Hurt living with a male child under 10 and I am assuming this was Abel and he went with Henry after this date. We don't think Jane was married when she had Abel as she is listed under her maiden name in 1820. Whatever information you have I would be interested in sharing. Sandy [email protected]
