But then he would have had a son named James Robert and a son named William Robert. There is also a James Davis and a Nancy (Teater) who had a son named William. Nancy Teater b. ca. 1800 was the youngest dau. of George and Easther (Griffeth) Teater. Nancy Teater married James Davis in Garrard County 19-Dec.-1817. After James Davis died in 1833, Claibourne C. Teater was appointed guardian of their children. The children being, Abner, Absolum , Alfred , James , John , Paris , and William. May not be who you are looking for but you never know.

Library. Also, about a year ago I took a picture of an old house off of Hurts lane in Garrard Co. which in Forrest Calicos records was called Humphrey Arnolds old stone House. The Aenolds got the house from Joseph Wrays descendants. Forrest Calico ( a researcher from about 50 or so years ago) stated that Humphrey Arnolds old stone house is in the same location that Maxwells station was. There is supposed to be a cemetery there but I couldn't find it. The old guy that owns the property said it was there though. The Maxwells came from the same area as my Joseph Wray which was an area called Tinkling Spring in Virginia. It's apparently part of the Shenandoah Valley. Sorry I don't more about them. Rodny

I would like to know whether anyone has access to marriage info concerning James BONER who mar. Catherine KINCADE in Garrard Co KY, 4 Mar 1877. Also, his son, Clarence, born 14 July, 1890 mar Pansie LEE, 15 July 1915, in Garrard KY. Would marriage record indicate race? These persons had ties to ROWE and MOORE familes -- possibly Native American or Mulatto. Any an all info appreciated. Virgene in northwest Indiana
