    1. Re: [KYFRANKL] Related Moore families??
    2. Sorry, my mistake. I should have said the 1870 census. Thanks, BB -----Original Message----- From: Carl Moore <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Cc: [email protected] Sent: Tue, Apr 20, 2010 8:22 am Subject: Re: [KYFRANKL] Related Moore families?? Bill- I am having problems locating the 1880 Census page you mention in the first entence of your e-mail. Would you please verify that it is correct? Are these two families elated? A little background. My great uncle OBEDIAH MOORE will marry MALISSA MOORE the aughter of LETHA MOORE on 12 OCT 1873. This will be the second marriage for oth. On 5 JUN 1876, OBEDIAH MOORE dies and in buried in the Pleasant Ridge aptist Church cemetery, grave #317. On 2 DEC 1883, SUSAN MOORE the daughter of ILTON MOORE dies and is buried in the same cemetery, grave #319. This has led ome to believe that OBEDIAH and SUSAN were married. Not so. OBEDIAH MOORE and MALISSA MOORE had one child, a daughter MILDRED. OBEDIAH had son, GARRETT, born to his first wife ELIZABETH YOUNG. MELISSA had a daughter y her first husband, WILLIAM RUSSELL. After OBEDIAH'S death, MALISSA married ames FINNEY and had several more children. By 1880, OBEDIAH'S children are iving with JAMES WAKEFIELD and his wife SARAH JANE MOORE, OBEDIAH'S sister. On the same census page, line 26, is the FRANCIS KERBY family. FRANCIS KERBY'S ife LUCY, happens to be the sister of JAMES WAKEFIELD. Would like to know if the two Moore families, Milton' e and Letha's are elated.
