    1. G. W. Thompson, 1827-?, birthplace unknown, Kentucky
    2. Doug & Marcy McCammish
    3. This is my worst brick wall. I have not found any George or GW Thompson who matches this person. The best information I have is the census data at the bottom and that he married Lucy Wilson of Owen County, KY sometime before 1855. A newspaper article, just before Lucy's death by consumption in Scott County, said that she was from Missouri. The youngest three children, who also apparently died of consumption (TB), are buried at the North Fork Baptist Church in Switzer, Franklin County. Any help or ideas appreciated, Thanks, Doug Descendants of George Washington Thompson 1 George Washington Thompson 1827 - .. +Lucy Wilson 1838 - 1879 ........ 2 James Jackson Thompson 1855 - 1938 ............ +Virginia Bell Carter 1860 - 1895 ................... 3 Albert Carter Thompson 1887 - 1973 ....................... +Lyda Suter ................... *2nd Wife of Albert Carter Thompson: ....................... +Oma Smither ........ 2 Sarah E.
