How and where to you request this book?? Any idea of the cost? Barb Barbara (MANLEY) Hernden ge-ne-al-o-gist: n. 1. a person who spends more time searching for dead relatives than spending time with living relatives. 2. a person who can not remember his own wedding anniversary but knows his great-great-grandmother's birthdate. 3. a person who spends a lot of time talking with others about long-time deceased people. 4. a person with no other hobbies. Remember ... Old Genealogists Never Die--They Just Lose Their Census Researching the surnames of MANLEY, BLACKMORE, HERNDEN, KOZMA, SMALLSHAW and LOOSEMORE.
The blue-bound cemetery book is out of print. I was fortunate that my parents, who live in KY and regularly maintain the family graves in the Old Frankfort Cemetery, purchased a copy when it was initially printed in 1988. They probably bought it directly from the Kentucky Genealogical Society. I have no idea of the cost. If you need a couple of look-ups, let me know (they gave me their book, once I became interested in genealogy). The white-bound book (which I have not yet seen) has been and will be again published by the Old Frankfort Cemetery. Don't know what it will cost, but I am supposed to be on their list when they next publish this book (supposed to be this year sometime). I believe that the Kentucky Historical Society has copies of both in their archives/library in Frankfort. ----- Original Message ----- From: <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Monday, April 24, 2006 10:52 AM Subject: Re: [KYFRANKL] Cemetery Book > How and where to you request this book??
