Roberta, A quick check shows there is a John Thompson in the book. I didn't write it. The book is written by Charles Manley, see his email in carbon copy slot. It covers James Manley and (unknown) wife and sons James, Jr., Isaac, William and Samuel. The family covers, Mason, Bath, Franklin, Scott, Boyd, Fayette, Montgomery, Rowan counties plus others. It really is very well done and well worth the money if you consider all the death certificates.
