    3. Does anybody have any information about the Greenhill (or Green Hill) Cemetery, located at the intersection of Main Street and U.S. Route 60 in Franklin Co, KY? Growing up in Frankfort, I always thought this was a cemetery for African Americans. However, I have recently discovered some caucasian folks in my tree whose death certificates indicate they were buried in the Greenhill Cemetery (time frame 1935 - 1950's). Now, I'm wondering if these folks have grave markers and who they are buried next to (perhaps some clues on spouses, children, parents, etc). I would like to know some history on this cemetery. The only thing I have been able to learn on the internet is about the memorial in this cemetery to African American soldiers who participated in the Civil War (so I am assuming that this was a cemetery that existed during the Civil War?). Also, are there any records (listings, books, etc) of the burials in this cemetery? I'm hoping (dreaming?) for something like the wonderful, helpful books that I have on the Frankfort Cemetery. Are burials still being performed in this cemetery? Any contact information for the cemetery?
