He married Elizabeth DAVIS of Menard County, Illinois in 1848, again according to the obituary. I have not been able to find the marriage in Illinois nor the family in the 1850 Census. At this point I would like to find out anything I can on the NATION families in Franklin County, in the hopes of finding a clue on the origins of William Hamilton NATION.
