    3. Lance, I've checked my copy of Church and Family Graveyards of Franklin County put out by The Kentucky Genealogical Society, Inc. in 1976. There are no listings of the Nation surname. Franklin County, Kentucky Birth Records, Volumes I and II by Frances T. Ingmire have nothing, either, but they are both too late for your time frame; as is her Death Records. 3. Hello Ann: Saw your reference to the book "Church and Family Graveyards of Franklin County." Would you be willing to look up any entries on the surnames Noland (sometimes mis-spelled "Nolan") and Kaze (sometimes spelled Kase, Kays, and Kayes)? 1. [KYFRANKL] William Kaze / Kase / Kays and daughter Louise R. Kase in Franklin County, KY
    2. Jennie & Bob Cox
    3. I would like to contact anybody researching William "Willie" Kays (also spelled Kase and Kaze and Kayes at different sources). Hoping to locate information on his descendants and parents, siblings, etc. I am descended from George Jesse Kaze, whom I believe to be William's brother. Here is what I have about William: According to the 1920 US census of Franklin Co, KY: William KASE was aged 45 (so born about 1875, born KY, both parents born KY), white male, married, living with his wife Lucy (age 21, born KY) and three children: Lou R. Kase (daughter, age 4 yrs 5 mo, so born about 1915), James W. Kase (son, age 1 yr 10 mo, so born about 1918) and son Christopher C. Kase (age 0/12, so born about 1920). According to the 1930 US census of Franklin Co, KY: William KAYS was aged 52 (so born about 1878, born KY), white male, divorced, living with his two sons: James Kays (age 14, so born about 1916) and Christopher Kays (age 11, so born about 1919). According to KY Death Records: William Kaze, white male, divorced, died 24 October 1935 in Frankfort, Franklin Co, KY. Cause of death was influenza and subsequent lobar pneumonia. Buried 25 Oct 1935 in Greenhill Cemetery, Frankfort, KY. The informant on his death certificate is listed as "Mrs. Geo. Kaze" (my direct ancestress Sarah Elizabeth "Lizzie" Parker, wife of George Jesse Kaze). Unfortunately, "don't know" is listed for his age, date of birth, birthplace, parents & their birthplaces (the ignorance on these facts of Mrs. Kaze is understandable -- by this time her husband George had been deceased for 3 years). According to KY birth records: Vol.58, cert # 28762 (1915): Daughter Louise R. Kase was born 18 June 1915 to mother Lucy Harrigan. Vol. 3, cert #1351 (1918): Son James W. Kase was born 18 June 1918 to mother Lucy Harrigan. Vol. ____, cert# ______ (1922): Son Cecil F. Kazer (sic) was born 03 Nov 1922 to mother Lucy ________(sic) [Note: no birth record has yet been located for son Christopher C. Kase). According to KY death records: Cecil F. Kays, born 03 Nov 1924, Franklin Co, KY, and died 03 Nov 1924 in Oldham Co, KY According to KY death records, Vol 35, cert #32043: James W. Kays, born 18 Jan 1918, died 03 Dec 1984, age 65, residence Franklin Co, KY, burial Greenhill Cemetery, Frankfort, KY. According to KY death records, Vol 48, cert #23924: Christopher Columbus Kase, age 29, born 01 Jan 1922 Franklin Co, KY & died 06 Nov 1951 in Danville, Boyle Co, KY at the Kentucky State Hospital of pulmonary tuberculosis, after a 4 year stay. His normal place of residence listed as Wilkinson Street, Frankfort, KY, father unknown, mother Lucy Ellis (so perhaps she remarried?), buried Greenhill Cemetery, Frankfort, KY. Listed as single, never in armed forces. Does anybody have any further information on these people? What happened to the daughter Louise R. Kase?
