There was a Thomas Foster in Franklin in 1828, but his wife was Lucy Marshall. Please let me know if you want the rest of the Foster information from the book. VA 1783) who was also living in Beford Co. at the same time, but again, this is not proven. Samuel may have been an uncle, or even an older brother. Thomas and Delilah had the following children: Sarah, Elizabeth, Lucinda Melvina, Alexander, James W., Susan, and Frances Ellen. The family moved to Madison Co., Arkansas before the 1860 census.
