Hi List, I am trying to verify some information I found on the web a long time ago. Maybe someone can help me verify this fact. I cannot drive so getting to a library or FHC is out of the question. Also, no public transportation. My request is simple. I would like to know if the following quote is accurate and she was a teacher at Frankfort: "It was at Frankfort that Robina taught the first high school for girls that was taught in the state of Kentucky. This was, perhaps, in 1802 or 1803. (1) (1) From the webpage of Alan and Mindy Ewing - Chapter 1" Her full name was Robina (nee Scott) EWING. She was the wife of James EWING and they came to KY from Scotland abt. 1800. This is my husband's direct line and I would like to prove or disprove this information. Thanks for any information that will prove or disprove this info. The genealogy pages for Alan and Mindy EWING do not work anymore.
