    2. Ms. Minter, Noticed your last name, Minter, which interested me very much. My GGGGM was Elizabeth Croxton, who was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary Minter Croxton. Elizabeth married Jesse Meshew, and they ended up in the Jackson Purchase area, around 1830-1840. Have you traced the Minter name? If you have do you have it all the way back into VA? If not, Would you like some resources that I know would be glad to help you. Ron Meshew ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com

    2. Thank you, Virginia! Yes, my parents were pretty young when they passed. I'll check out the other Combs in the book when I get a copy. But I really don't think any of them are "my" Combs. We didn't move to Frankfort until 1960. Mom's people came from Bourbon Co Ky and Dad's came from Perry County Ky. Lynda In a message dated 11/11/2007 7:14:24 PM Eastern Standard Time, [email protected] writes: Hello Lynda: Yes, both your parents are listed in the softcover 2005 book (along with a lot of other persons surnamed Combs). Here is what the book shows: Combs, Courtney A., section J, lot 307C, grave #2, interred 06/09/1988, birth 3/22/1922, died 6/6/1988, age 66, male, married, cross reference to other book is page #201. Combs, Gene E., section J, lot 307 C, grave #2, interred 2/7/1985, birth 4/22/1923, died 2/4/1985, age 61, female, married, cross reference to other book is page #201. In the hardcover blue book, they are also listed (on page 201) as buried in Section J "Decoration Hollow" : Combs, Courtney A., March 22, 1922 - (no death date listed, since that occurred after this book was published) Combs, Gene E., April 22,1923 - February 4, 1985.
