    1. [KYFRANKL] Ernest Moore
    2. Ernest A. Moore was married to Clara B. Kirby on 16 Oct. 1895 in Franklin County, KY. Witnesses were Amanda Hunley and Jessie Kirby. Ernest appears to remarry on 26 Dec 1900 to Pearl Scott Frakes of Meade County, KY. If this is the same Ernest A. Moore, I would assume that Clara B. Kirby had passed away before 1900. Does anyone know what happened to Clara or if she had any children? Ernest was my mother's first cousin. Ernest died in 1910 and is buried in Cave Hill Cemetery in Louisville. Thanks for any help. Bill Brinly

    1. [KYFRANKL] The Morris Sullivan Family
    2. Is there an obituary available for JOHANNA SULLIVAN who died 28 Apr 1923 and is buried in the Frankfort Cemetery? Her husband Morris died 16 Feb 1917 and is also buried in the Frankfort cemetery. Morris was the brother of my great grandmother Bridget Sullivan, who was married to Daniel Callahan. At one time the Sullivans and Callahans lived in a duplex on East Main in Frankfort. I would like to know what happened to the children of MORRIS and JOHANNA SULLIVAN and hope her obituary will shed some light on their where about's at the time of her death. Any help appreciated, Bill Brinly

    1. [KYFRANKL] Wireman or Wiram
    2. In the Frankfort Cemetery index, there are four WIRAM graves listed. Three are in the WAKEFIELD family plot. JIM WAKEFIELD'S niece, Angeline KIRBY married a HIRAM WIREMAN. Is he the HIRAM WIRAM buried 6/8/1930 and is the HIRAM WIRAM buried in 1/2/1898 really Mrs. HIRAM WIRAM ( Angeline Kirby)? If so, who are the other two WIRAMS buried in the cemetery? Any help greatly appreciated, Bill Brinly

    1. [KYFRANKL] Website Update
    2. Fern
    3. Hello folks - just want to inform everyone about the recent up-date to my Buford website. www.bufordfamilies.com In addition to my regular pages that you all might be familiar with I have added a new category. It is entitled "OLD NEWS" and has ten(10) sub titles. This has been a ton of fun for me and a great way of researching my family. As I researched my Buford family I have also included some of my collateral families. I believe everyone might find something of interest to read as there is a lot of history to be found in the old newspapers available in local libraries and on micro-film. Hard on the eyes but if you are a history buff like I am, it is well worth the time and eye strain. My up-date covers over a hundred new pages. I hope you all find something interesting. If you have questions you may contact me at: [email protected] My sincere apologies if you receive duplicate emails regarding my update. Thanks and God Bless - Fern K. 1. [KYFRANKL] Smith Family
    2. Hi Folks, I'm trying to help a friend. We are looking for information on a woman, Sannie Smith, born 1904 to Cassius & Alice Smith. We know she had a brother by the name of Henry Giltner Smith, he went by Giltner. I found them in the 1910 & 1920 census around the Forks of Elkhorn area. I found Giltner in the Ky Death Index, he died in 1980. Sannie was said to have never married so her death certificate should be listed as Smith but I can't find it. Does anyone know ANYTHING about this family? Thanks, Lynda Combs Gipson
