James would have had powerful reasons for doing so...given the ages of the children.. Family and friends fixed widowed fathers of young children up quickly..from my experience.. Could be that Mary was removed from the home for health reasons?? Possibly she left the home for her own reasons?? This would account for the lack of facts...My east Ky kin would never talk about embarassing family matters..even if all of the principals were dead... I have no parents for either wife...Minda...may be Arty or Arminda and could be the dau of William B.
