The "married 13 years" presumably refers to the year the census was taken in 1910 so that would mean he married Rosa in 1897. The date of birth of his last child by his first wife was Dec. 1896, a girl, Arminda (not to be confused with Arminta (by his second wife). Likely, Catherine died as a result of childbirth.
