Elizabeth is alive and well on the 1860 census in Floyd county and living with Jarvey. Jarvey is listed with Evaline on the 1870 census with 3 young children. On a deed dated 30 Feb 1851, Elizabeth Elliott Hall's father, John Elliott, mentions her and her husband. I have to wonder where the author of the book got her facts. They don't seem to add up. My guess is that Elizabeth died after 1860 and Jarvey simply got himself a young wife. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
