JUST POSTING THE OBITUARY ON GLADYS KNOTT FROM THE DAYTON (OH) DAILY NEWS 11/7/11 Gladys Stewart Knott, age 83 of Miamisburg, OH passed away November 5, 2011 at Kingston of Miamisburg. She was born October 23, 1928 in Wheelwright, KY to the late Jerry and Lillian (Wheatley) Stewart. In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her brother, Edward Stewart and sister, Dorothy Stewart. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Paul M. Knott, her children, Rick (Shirley) Knott of Troy, OH, Helen (Rick) Dalton of Miamisburg, Rod (Jenny) Knott of Miamisburg, Becky (Don) Hobbs of West Carrollton, OH, Linda Knott of Miamisburg and Doug (Vicki) Knott of Pemberville, OH; a brother, Jerry (Joyce) Stewart of Ashland, KY; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Gladys was a high school graduate and married Paul, the love of her life on June 17, 1951 in Ashland, KY. She dedicated her life to her family and was a member of Our Lady of Good Hope Church and Miamisburg Senior Center. Family will receive friends during visitation on November 8, 2011 ! from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:30 AM November 9, 2011 at Our Lady of Good Hope Church, Miamisburg. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg, following mass. Memorial contributions may be made to The Children's Medical Center of Dayton, Attn: Development Office, One Children's Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404-1815 in memory of Gladys.
