Author: jesimullins Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.floyd/10017/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hi! my grandparents are Amos Vaughn(1923 - 2003) and Pauline Vaughn of Dwale. i don't know much about my grandfather's family, and neither does my grandmother. but i've heard my whole life he was of Native American descent, particularly Cherokee. i haven't seen any proof nor have had confirmation, i wasn't able to ever talk to him about it as i was just seven when he passed. i can't seem to find out anything about his family past his parents' names. i've heard his grandmother, possibly named Sarah, is where the Native Blood comes into play. i'm not trying to claim native or anything for benefits though haha i'm simply just curious. any help would be greatly appreciated. xx Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
