Author: mickeygoble99 Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.kentucky.counties.floyd/9961.1.6.1.1.3.1.2.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.1.2.1.1.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: floyd co. court 1835. ordered that john hatcher guardian of john franklin and emeline hackworth pay to john walker and lizabeth his wife the sum of $85.49 buying what now hath affecay to be the net proceds of the said estate up to the14 sept 1835 but that is not a final settlement of the said elizabeth walker and john walkers account.john hatcher this day he being guardian of john franklin and emily jane hackworth infant heirs of george hackworth deceased produced in open court his exceptions to a report of commissioners made on a settlement with him made out and filed in open court on the 12th day of december 1837. said commissioners allowed john walker for keeping said heirs the sum of $ 107.25 for keeping said heirs two years from the 14th of sept1835 to the14th day of sept.1837 and on hearing the evidence the court reduced the said sum of $107.25 to 87.25 and it is ordered that said john hatcher guardian as aforesaid pay the same over to the said john walker out of any m! oney in his hands of the said estate.
