Fabulous! The Galloways have been very hard to root out! They have been my nemesis in this family! She may have been a daughter of John G Galloway of Floyd who is somehow related to this mess - he may have been a brother of Thomas Lewis's first wife Do you have any other info on them? C.C. Lewis was most likely born in 1842, the 350th of the discovery. I have always wondered about this and the connection between the 1850 census which says Thomas was from Portugal - this a strange anomaly in the records. I look forward to chatting with you!
